This feature is available for every plan we currently offer. It isn’t available in the deprecated plans.

You’ll find the brand icon at the end of the email editor. After clicking on the icon you will be able to set variables.

Color variable

Thanks to the color variables, changing the color theme of your email becomes a breeze.

As a best practice, we would advise you to define your most-used brand and text colors, at least.

Once you have the color variables defined and associated with every desired element, you will be able to update their colors together.

First click ''Add new''.

Add variable name and set the color code. Click ''Save''.

You can also add more color variables by clicking ''Add new''.

You can find matching variables and replace them with the variable.

You can remove the variable from everywhere but keep the values.

You can update the variable with this icon.

Now if you go to your email and click on the text for example, you will see the brand icon element next to it.

It will open the variable screen and you will have the option to select the variable.

In this case, I have chosen to replace the color of this text with the yellow color code I have saved previously in the variable.

Text variables

Text variables were made to let you customize the written content of multiple text values just like, buttons, ALT texts, or titles together.

For example, instead of writing "Read more" on every button in your email template, you could create a "button-text-1" variable and assign it to each of them.

Later, if you need to replace the call-to-action on the buttons, you will only need to modify the value of your text variable once.

Image variable

The image variables can help you replace brand-specific image elements in your email template conveniently.

As a best practice, we advise you to define the company logo, custom icons, image backgrounds, or other repetitive decorator elements as image variables.

Once you have the image variables defined and associated with every desired element, you will be able to update them together.

  • Value is required

    • we accept a simple URL

  • Description is optional

    • simple plain text

Link variables

The link variables can help you replace brand-specific links in your email template conveniently.

Any link that's not being added via a merge tag but is necessary multiple times in an email, for example, a link to your homepage, should be defined as a link variable instead of a regular URL.

This way, if you wish to reuse the email with a different brand or need to update it, you'll be able to replace those links in it together.

  • Name is required

  • Value is required

    • we accept a simple URL

    • and we’ll need an icon where a modal could pop up with an available list

  • Description is optional

    • simple plain text

Font variables

Typography is an essential element in any brand identity, and it all starts with the font family.

As a best practice, we advise you to use a maximum of two different font families in your email: one for headings and one for paragraphs.

Once you have the font variables defined and associated with every desired element, you will be able to update them together.
