Customizing the language setting for your email templates in Chamaileon ensures your content aligns with your audience's preferences and regional requirements. This guide will walk you through the steps to change a template’s language setting quickly and easily.


How to Change a Template’s Language Setting

Follow these steps to update the language of your email template:

  1. Navigate to the Email Dashboard

    • Log in to Chamaileon and go to your email dashboard.

    • Locate the email card of the template you want to update.

  2. Access the Email Settings (or change it during the Export/Sync workflow)

    • Hover over the email card.

    • Click on the three-dot menu that appears.

    • Select "Email Settings" from the dropdown menu.

  3. Choose the Template Language

    • In the Email Settings panel, find the option labeled "Email Language".

    • Select the desired language from the dropdown menu.

      Note: Do not confuse "Email Language" with "Templating Language".

      • Email Language: Adjusts the language for static elements like unsubscribe text and system messages.

      • Templating Language: Refers to automation or dynamic content conditionals.

  4. Save Your Changes

    • Once you've chosen the appropriate language, save your settings to apply the change.
